Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
ColombianAmazon.com does not sell products or process payments directly. If you have paid for something connected to this platform, the refund and cancellation terms depend on where that payment was made:
The Colombian Amazon Journal (Substack)
Journal Member and Mission Partner subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through Substack. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your Substack account settings to stop future charges. If you believe you were charged in error, or want to ask about a refund for a recent charge, contact us directly at embajada@colombianamazon.com and we will work with you on it — reasonable requests made shortly after a charge are handled case by case.
Mountain Bike Colombia Expeditions
Expedition bookings are made and paid for directly through Mountain Bike Colombia, which has its own cancellation and refund policy. Amazon expeditions specifically are non-refundable once booked, given the logistics and community commitments involved. Full current terms are published at mountainbikecolombia.com/cancellation-policy.
Dulce Amazónica and Origen Amazónica Products
Products purchased in person at Dulce Amazónica in Guatapé, or through Origen Amazónica, are handled directly by those businesses. Damaged or incorrect items are addressed case by case — contact the business where you made the purchase, or write to embajada@colombianamazon.com if you are not sure who to reach.
Casa de Ciclistas
As a restaurant, standard consumer expectations apply to meals and service. Concerns about an order or a visit can be raised directly with Casa de Ciclistas in Guatapé.
Questions
If you are unsure which of the above applies to you, write to embajada@colombianamazon.com and we will point you in the right direction.
