Begin the Conversation

The Colombian Amazon is built through relationship. If you feel called to visit, support, collaborate, or learn more, begin with a conversation.

Who We Hear From

We receive inquiries from travelers, journalists, buyers, researchers, partner organizations, and people who simply want to understand what is happening in the Colombian Amazon and how to engage with it honestly.

We read every message and reply to serious inquiries. We do not have a form routing system or a response time guarantee. If your message is thoughtful, it will get a thoughtful reply.

What to Write About

Include a sentence or two about what you are looking for. It helps us route your message to the right person and respond usefully.

Visit the Amazon

Responsible, community-connected visits to Indigenous territories. Tell us your timeframe, group size, and what kind of experience you are looking for. Read the Experiences page first.

Support Indigenous-Led Projects

Sponsorships, partnerships, community fund contributions, or program-specific support. Tell us what you are interested in supporting and at what scale.

Dulce Amazónica

Visiting the cultural embassy in Bogotá, attending events, working with the rotating ambassador program, or stocking the products. Tell us which applies.

Selva Amazonica Products

Wholesale, retail stocking, custom kit development, or sourcing Amazonian ingredients directly from communities. Tell us your business context and what you need.

Artisan Goods

Purchasing or commissioning handcrafted pieces from Indigenous artisans. Large orders require advance coordination with communities. Tell us what you are looking for and when you need it.

Partnerships and Collaboration

Organizations, brands, or researchers interested in ongoing collaboration. Tell us who you are, what you do, and what collaboration looks like from your side.

Media and Storytelling

Journalists, filmmakers, podcasters, and educators. Read our approach to media work first. Tell us your outlet, the story you are working on, and your timeline.

Find Us Elsewhere

The Colombia Amazon platform connects four initiatives. Depending on what you are looking for, one of these may be the more direct point of contact.

A Note on Communication

The communities represented through this platform have been approached by researchers, journalists, NGOs, brands, and tourists for decades. Many of those encounters extracted value without returning it: stories published without consent, images used without credit, knowledge appropriated without acknowledgment.

We ask that you come to this conversation with the same care you would bring to any relationship you intend to be lasting. Tell us honestly who you are and what you want. We will tell you honestly what is and is not possible.

Relationships built on clarity hold. We are not interested in any other kind.
